A Daily Challenge to Grow Through Giving Love and Encouragement
We could all use a little more love in our lives. How about we share some every day this month?
Shared love includes taking care of yourself and your home, but also a level of self-appreciation. Reflection is essential so that you can take a moment to check in. You need to be mindful of your needs in order to be able to push love back out into the world. Whether you are in a relationship or not is irrelevant. Who you are within is who you project out into the world. So, in order to put love out into the world, you need some of you own!
While I’ve pretty much mastered the “love thyself” mentality, I really want to get better at showing how much I care to those surrounding me.
I am challenging myself to 28 days of positivity, love, and sharing with others. February is the shortest month, after all, it shouldn’t be too hard to pull this off…right? I thought I would share in case any one would like to join me! I have previewed the challenge below but if you click here you can download a printable version. That way you have the hard copy and can put it on your mirror, at your desk, or on anywhere that you will see it all month.
We will also be sharing our progress on the Love Becomes Her Facebook Page.
It’s pretty straightforward.
Each day, perform the action according to the date we are on. (So, on February 21st we should all be writing “thank you” notes. Mail it or drop it off, this part is up to you, but the whole point is more love.) These prompts are intended to get you started, but you can always do more! If you need to tweak a few words and make this a monthly self love journey, I think that would be an awesome interpretation, too.
A couple of days might create shareable moments and I would love to see how the month goes for others. The whole point is to encourage the best in ourselves, after all. A little community around the challenge could be great, you never know who you are inspiring to keep progressing.
Some of these challenges might already come naturally, a few might be sort of touchy, but that’s the main purpose isn’t it?
If you want to push yourself a bit, you can focus everything to one person, too. A colleague or your significant other would be a great place to start. Anyone you see fairly often. This is the month we have come to know for lovey dovey things, let’s give it a whirl! Challenge yourself along with me.
Share with #lovebecomesher or #sharethelove and have fun with it!
